i just find this argument strange, its like i added a " noveske fire pig" to a short barreled carbine because in real life they aid in cycling the bolt on a CQB m4, this was to "simulate" real world physics and weapon accessories, not because i needed it for airsoft

there are those of us out there that prefer doing up our guns and gear just as much or MORE than we do actually playing the sport

haha well i do care! i am interested in people so i find this kinda thing a bit fascinating :p i prefer the look of pure guns, although m4s with an aimpoint mounted on the carry handle i find truely beautiful.

Indeed,as I said airsoft's a fashion show. It's not just about practicality, but sometimes just aquiring a certain look. Many airsofters are military enthusiasts and collectors as well

Exactly the same as me... Although I have an accessories horse gun, that I bolt a bunch of stuff to.

agreed that some guns look better clean, most of my guns are, very little modification on 75% of them

but can appreciate a well customized rifle if its what is comfortable and best for the end operator

i wouldnt call it a fashion show as much as anything is in life, all the fanboys with gaming, iphone, whatever, when you drive you car, you pick it because of its looks etc, you add alloy wheels? why? it looks better, i mean it drove before (bad example but im off to work so best i could think of)

Its well built reasonably priced and most of there stuff as silly as you might think it looks are quit practical.

i think that's very true, but i very rarely see a gun which i think is well customised. but it's what ever the person who owns the gun likes we must assume and it's their gun so i cannae judge :p

i feel i should clarify that i am not saying that magpul is wrong, it's up to the person who owns the gun to decide how they customise it, but i am just trying to work out why people like it :p

lol.....How can you disslike magpull products, when you would happily plonk an aimpoint on a carry handle.

I would customise my little M4 if there was any room....But the only custom work is some sniper tape round the stock tube....Not Magpull..

because there is a difference? there are (although not set) discernable different levels of custmisation, an aimpoint on a carry handle is only a very small addition, which i think adds to the asthetics of the gun, whereas i think magpul is over the top.

but it's only my opinion.

AFG/Rail covers etc are only a small addition yet magpul make them, hardly over the top items?

End of the day all magpul is, is a brand that makes their own version of parts.... you could "pimp" an M4 with the same parts made by different company s and it could look just as "over the top" its what the user does with the parts not magpul its self.

Well his point is that where do you draw the line at accessories.

i've got a magpul pts sling plate on my car-15, because it works extremely well with a one point sling.

actually I find carry handles the optimum height for my optics. :p
