I currently have a 1 point sling for my M4, and I shall be acquiring an L85 sling for my L85 and then looking to mod my M4 so I can use it on that as well

Depends on which rifle I am using. If longer than an M4 then yes, despite me being well over 6'

There's also a lot of adjustment built in so you can make it suit different shooters quite easily.
