totaly forgot about the g36 being plastic but like most modern assult rifles all the bolts have guide rods to carry the the bolt on recoil

will do, the guy hasn't been around for a while but I only go on holidays so only tend to see the club regulars, if hes there next time and has brought it I'll get all the photos I can! The other 2 I saw were from people that come more often but its a bit rude to go up and ask them can they bring it just so I can get a few holiday snaps :D but of course if they're about and have them with them I'll get all the photos the memory stick will hold :D

haha yes you've gotta love the yanks enthusiasm though! had some fun with a little ruger .22 single six, less recoil than the .45 1911 styled one I used though but a very nice bit of kit indeed!

Re: Metal slide glocks
OH MY GOODNESS, you probably won't belive it but one of the many pistols I fired today was an old woodsman! Got a really, really nice group with it as well, my dad got 2 bulls in a row unrested at 20 yards, (bull being the red part of a reactive sticker target about 10mm wide) and everyone was like go on ben beat that, i fired 1 shot which was just of the black of the sticker at 6 oclock, black being about 50mm wide, then properly rapid fired the rest of the mag and got every single shot in the black/bull! i'll admit it was pure luck though!
