Thing is it's still only got to be firing 5.56mm as it's got a magpul standard m4 magazine in it, so the massive flash hider etc is pointless lol.

Just a silly front end of a gun that's got no real purpose as the back of the gun is completely standard.

I imagine if it's metal, that's got to be the worst gun ever for front heavy.

Front heavy isn't in itself a bad thing. The L1A1 was front heavy, but was also a great gun to fire.

Also a note for front heavy, if it fails some how you can always hit the transformer in the head with it lol.

IMFDB claims it's an M4 carbine with some attachments, and who am I to argue!

Looks pretty cool I think. Get some vacuum cleaner parts or something and stick them on the front of your M4!

the base gun is an M4 .50 beowulf,

the rest is made for the film, ie the gripped light and the curved barrel cover

then add EOtech then a IR image intensifier with red lens

According to imfdb, it's firing Sabot rounds that were said to effective in the first film. So maybe the front end is meant to be a giant heat sink for better heat distribution as well as look "futuristic".

well you can get 5.56 sabot so i assume its just a regular armalite
