I've only ever bought one item from abroad, a $1250 guitar from SK. Cleared customs in 3 days with a total import charge of... £0

It's generally volume related i believe (according to the guy at my local parcel force when i grumbled about an item being stuck for 2.5 weeks with customs). They are wise to nearly everything coming out of HK, so check nearly everything in order to generate additional income - topping up there pension shortfall no doubt!!

Still nothing on my doorstep...


Funny thing is, I bought something a week later from the same supplier, using the same courier and it got here three days ago.

And after all this delay I will have to pay customs! Why???! :p

Think yourself lucky its actualy on our shores...lol
An order i put in on weds from HK still hasnt been shipped!!
Sent an email yesterday for a progress report only to get an automated response saying they are closed untill monday now.
I swear if its not on its way monday im going to ask for a refund as its probably out of stock and they are playing for time!!!
