In standard form it nearly balances itself out with a battery in.

Personaly i dont realy see the benefit of the carbine over the standard length, there is only a couple of inches between them and a lot less battery space.
If your after small L85 have a look for the AFV version.
Whatever length they are heavy fu**ers to lug around all day compared to other weapons.

The standard l85 is perfectly balanced when the battery is in

there no real arm ache it's basically the same as carrying a full metal m4 with long ris and accessories with mag and battery plus aimpoints magnifiers etc

the carbine is the same just with shorter grip reducing battery space and limits battery selection

Depends mate , a large type only just fits in the standard hand guard

Nunchucks may still be a push, its an L86 handguard basicaly meaning mini or Lipo.

                    Keep fit heavy.
Unless your built like a brick poo house up top you will feel it the next day.

The weight is about 5kg with a susat on and battery for a L85A2, but the balance means that your shoulder takes alot of the weight. It is heavier than an M4 but its not that noticeable when you use it.

the weight wasnt so bad, but the balancing. 2 I have held have both been really horrible!

Yeah, but all the weight is at the back, and it has a tiny flimsy handle to hold it all with if its not against your shoulder. Even if it was the best performing rifle in airsoft, I wouldnt dream of getting it. Thats how offputting the weight distribution was for me!
