just seen a gun made by them for sale at seemingly a good price what are they like as a brand? anyone have one that i can get there input on?

the gun in question is a g36 variant

I believe Umarex own many of the licences to R/S trades and rebadge/rebrand other companies products. So with the g36 who is the OEM? As that'll let you guage the quality/reputation.

Umerex is just the company who put the trades on

The base guns are ares internals

Held the g36c and was flimpsy compared to the jg one

i have a hunch its g&g because its electric blowback and they sell guns around that same price range

The Ares G36 blowback is about the same price, and since G&G don't do a G36 (and it's massively unlikely that they would produce one just for a rebrander) that's pretty much narrowed it down. That and afaik, the Ares is the only EBB G36 on the market

The Umarex G36's are made by Ares.

Classic Army also make an EBB G36
