Re: Unknown airsofter in my area plinking in the back garden?
I think the name of the game in this regard is common sense, as various folk have said, make your neighbours are aware and/or plink when they are out. As for getting in trouble, I wouldnt pimp around the garden fully dressed in full camo and waving guns, as that might get you a visit especially if your neighbours dont know and over-react to the sight of guns. Your unlikely to be liable for anything aside from if bb's go into other gardens...possible if they cause breakage or anything to be broken, then possibility of being liable for criminal damage...but its pretty unlikely.
I seem to have good neighbours and had a great deal of interest from next doors eleven year old, and his mother wasnt remotely bothered, once she understood a bit about what the guns were

I know what you mean, my Tavor is neatly supressed and doesnt make a lot of noise...the same cannot be said for my Troy M7...of course that could have something to with the Noveske Firepig doohicky on the front lol! Still it sounds awesome with the lithium batteries rate of fire

It was more of a warning let this particular person and anyone else thinking of doing it, that sporting out in your backgarden for the first time without telling anyone nearby what you are doing is a possible risk, mainly that the armed police will come and have a nosey at what you are doing.

Re: Unknown airsofter in my area plinking in the back garden?
Past experience from the part of a friend shows that common sence needs to prevail.
He was in his back yard, surrouded by his nice high fence, working on his minimi. put it back together, rattled a few shots down the garden, all good.
Only problem was his neighbour was having the windows cleaned at the time, and the armed police arrived shortly afterwards.
he lost his AEG's for a day whilst the police did a little poking, but he got them back eventually.
So, common sense needs to prevail if you plink in your garden.

Re: Unknown airsofter in my area plinking in the back garden?
This is why I plink/target practice from my garage, with garage doors open and firing onto the fence of which the fence has targets pinned up to.
Although my direct neighbours know I am a airsofter, other neighbours don't - i'm not taking the risk!
