Cheers.

Doctor for the win. I'd use one on every gun, but they look a bit weird on a full size m4

Re: Iron or Not?
Depends on the gun, old skool guns such as my AK or M14, then irons all the way. I also really like the irons on the M4/M16 series. Also MP5/G3 irons are lovely too. Infact I cant think of any irons I dont like, at least on a long weapon anyway, some pistols have hideous irons but I guess they dont really count,

Re: Iron or Not?
Irons. Because they magically never need zeroing.
As soon as you put an optic on it, your rifle unexplicably becomes less accurate!
Plus, they're free! (Unless you've got an AUG A3...¬¬')

Re: Iron or Not?
Yeah, depends what gun - i'll use iron sights on a gun with open top sights like an AK, but my eyes struggle with the closed top ones on guns like M4's so i'll stick an Elcan on it or similar.

Re: Iron or Not?
Traditional Iron Sights, can't beat them.
Although I found that on my old MP5, a Red Dot sight was quicker for snap shooting and lining up targets..... but still got sick of it and went back to irons.

Re: Iron or Not?
Depends on whether I am going to be in the dark or not really. Irons are great if you can see them, otherwise Aimpoint or even laser all the way. Lasers are fun, they scare people :P

Aimpoint for low-light, irons for bright conditions.

Re: Iron or Not?
I don't really use any sights, just point in the direction and hope for the best. If i miss i have another couple of thousand shots to try again.
If i put a sight on a gun its more for looks

Re: Iron or Not?
Ah, i would have said most people use sights. But iron seems the way forward :P
I prefer irons because they feel nicer
I just cant get used to a red dot sight.

ACOG.
Have had and eotech, aimpoint, triipower and a couple different acogs (all RS) now have an TA31F and it's fantastic, even in cqb the 4x is actually useful!
