I had a problem with something like this. I was waiting for a parcel for over 2 weeks for something I bought from the Bay of e.

I opened a PP dispute and the guy gave me a tracking number which showed a signature. So I called Royal mail top sort it

Now, RM customer services are funking woeful. It took me 20 mins to get where I needed over the phone and speak to someone. I gave them the tracking number and explained the situation, that it was signed for but I didn't have it.

He told me to call back in 7 - 10 days for information. So I waited. RM then confirmed that it had been delivered to an address is Scotland. Nowhere near where I live.

I gave this information to PP and within a few days I got what I had bought, with the seller having no idea how it ended up in Scotland.

So even though you have made a recorded delivery it's not beyond RM to completely get something hideously wrong.

My advice, phone RM customer service and wait for them to confirm where the parcel was delivered to. There's a few stories on here of people having postmen sign for a parcel coz they don't get an answer from the intended recipient and also people finding parcels in the back garden that postie has chucked over a fence when they not got an answer.

In short mate, get onto RM and ask for conformation of the delivery address using the tracking number you got for your signed delivery. While your waiting for them to come back, find the number of the local police station of the area this other bloke lives in and phone them to ask for advice and tell them you are waiting for RM to confirm the delivery address. Keep the other in the loop with all this info and if he has nothing to hide he should be more than willing to help. If he stops talking to you and ignores you then I think you have your answer.

God I ramble on more the older I get...

Cheers Four Leaf, looks like the option from a lot of the posts is contacting RM which I will asap! Thanks for your post dude, that will help when I give them a ring tomorrow, whatever happens, thing I'll just hopefully get my pistol back and leave the trade. And only do a deal if its 110% legit!

no worries mate, Ove created a thread as well about issues people might be having and some basic questions to ask if things go wrong.

Any chance a mod could sticky it? might be helpfull. people are welcome to PM me and ill see what I can do to help

I am the person he wanted to trade with

First he hasn't shown me proof of sent item

Took two weeks to suposly sent because he kept changing his mind on doing deal, I gave him a number of times to back out as I have had lots of offers I would have taken but kept it for him

He told me some called someone else has signed for it (NOT ME !)

Now he expects me to sent my gun when I haven't got his

I have reply to nearly even message he has sent me

I not letting any one accuse me of scamming

I have a 100% I trader

He has nothing !

Yes and as we all know, iTrader means f*ck all. People still get screwed over by "respected 100% traders". Looks to me like you're trying to cover yourself here. Which is a sure sign of you're fu*king this poor guy over. We all have a portfolio of you and frankly it's nothing good so far.

Now sort this freaking mess out before you find NOBODY wishes to trade with you or your dual account, no wait, nobody can trade with that... It's banned.

Just to add the name he told me of the person I don't know and dosent live at my address so work that out, I never came to him to trade he came to me as far as I'm consered he's trying to make me out to be a scammer and Im not having it !

And that attitude my poor spelling friend, whether you're in the right or not has nailed people opinion to trade with...

And dual accounting... Avoid anyone who runs dual accounts

Edit: 100% Feedback?! you've done 3 deals with NO trades, only sales that paypal can track you on! Thats laughable your using that as leverage..

From a neutral point of view, if OP can give evidence - pic of receipt of tracking number with the timestamp showing along with a screenshot of the website saying the package has been received with the recipients name on it he - then he may have some decent leverage against either the person who he's trading with or the delivery company.

But I definitely agree with oneshot; spelling and grammar mixed with an attitude like that isn't going to get you anywhere "ted"
