  • Weekender (refund)

I've booked into a weekender and paid half the fee on my credit card (the rest in cash on the day) .
If the organisers then anouce on their forum that it may or may not be going ahead and will let you know at a later date can I ask for a refund off the amount I've payed on my card ?
The reason for this is myself and a few others have set this weekend aside and want to be booked definatly to go some where.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like the Absolute Airsoft game at Copehill? That Mark is now saying numbers are too low and he might pull?

I'm not sure why anyone has booked for it to be honest, considering his shady dealings as Special Airsoft Supplies, which have earned him infamy within the community.

Forget for the minute where this is, and keep it as a general question.

You have paid partial payment for a service which may not be delivered. Until a product is paid for in full, or delivered you can ask for a refund, provided that there is no disclaimer or section in the T&Cs saying that it is a non refundable deposit.

Worst case the CC company will refund you and take up a case with the company.
