Then something is wrong. You should have a fast crisp cycle. Are you open or closed bolt ?

its the closed bolt, it is stock atm, after spending £400 on it with some mags, im not over the moon at spending more yet

it'll fire okish on semi, but the trigger seems to lock and needs to be pushed fwd slightly to be able to pull it again

and in full auto, u get about 10 bbs out, then it just dumps all the gas out the mag, its almost like the bolt part isnt coming fwd far enough

as i said, i tinkered when i got it, but have left it be for awhile now

You have some issues mate! Full auto is very crap on closed bolt guns especially m4s with them being all metal! I'd take the plunge and drop an open bolt kit in. Something is sticking in your trigger somewhere but thats probably something to do with the cycle. Where are you located

Re: GBB as a primary - How practical is it really?

I use a GBB rifle all year round with not problems what so ever. I have few different ones but they are all based on the Escort system.

                    Performance: I'm getting +/- 1fps

Cold Weather Performance: No problem what so ever, no difference between cold or warm for my guns.

Reliability/Maintenance: My guns are simple, just clean a lube. But my rule for WE/WA based guns is to bring a spare, because it IS going to break. Biggest weakness of modern gas in the mag guns is that they need so much care and maintenence to get running right, and even then, it's still only a matter of time before they break. That's been my experience with them anyway.

General Use: I currently use hi cap mags, as my rig only has space for 3 mags. So if some AEG user starts to hose me, I'll hose him right back, with GBB goodness. I am looking to go back to mid caps, as I find them more fun, so I am thinking about changing my rig.

I'll back up the WE SCAR comments - I love mine to bits - I've had it running below 10 degrees but not had the opportunity to test it in the minus' yet. That will change soon I am sure, knowing British winters.
