Re: New WE MSK GBBR
So certain UK GBBR specialist retailers who are indicating that these rifles are NOT for sale on their website, are unable to get these rifles?!?
Because the statements here don't APPEAR to support the statements these guys are making. All very confusing.

Re: New WE MSK GBBR
Am I being dense? Why have they wasted all their R&D and marketing time to just cancel it before release? Since when has a Taiwan manufacturer, especially one as proliferant as WE given a crap about intellectual property? If they did then why do they still sell Glocks and G36s?
This doesn't matter anyway, I've never been a huge fan of the Phagpul Masada, I place it in the same group as the G5, nice to look at but not really a gun that would be missed in the wider Airsoft or milsim arena. Just bring the MP5 out.

Said retailer is confirming what we've said... Just without saying directly.

Because they got to a certain point then it all went down the pan... VFC already do a gas Mp5 but I'm sure WE's wont be far away

No, no they're not. You're saying these rifles are not being produced and you can't get them. The other guys are saying, these guns are being kept on the 'down low' and WE Europe are not distributing them, but if they place an order with the factory they can get them for you. Two distinct and opposite statements.
Clearly someone is wrong. This is why I've been asking for clarification, and why this is confusing. And let's not even discuss certain Taiwan based retailers who are happily advertising these MSK's and dispatching them to customers (see thread on other well known airsoft forum!)

Re: New WE MSK GBBR
Because that certain UK retailer is getting them grey from the massive Taiwan retailer that found the ones that were made before cancellation .
A run was made and got out onto the Taiwan market before being cancelled as I stated . Some of those have been sold to others outside of Taiwan but if imported into Europe they will get all kinds of strife

How exactly will they get strife? If HMRC don't care (beyond having defence, and sometimes not even that) then how on earth will we Europe be able to "bring down strife" if one buys one from Taiwan and ships it here?

Re: New WE MSK GBBR
I didn't say anything about WE Europe bringing down strife at all !
It would more likely be the IP owner who would take action , as they have promised to do
But in actual fact WE could if they felt so inclined as grey importing is covered by UK law
also we are not talking about one (personal import) we are talking a commercial quantity

Re: New WE MSK GBBR
In that case guys, get your asses over to said Taiwan retailer and get them whilst you can still get mags!
Good luck if the trigger dissolves though.

Oddly enough I have never had a WE trigger pack give up since they first brought out the AFC M4. I have blown an oring once on the nozzle though

Re: New WE MSK GBBR
Just a quick update for those who care. My MSK should be in my hands either tomorrow or Thursday latest!! Obviously due to forum rules I can't talk about where I got it, suffice to say, it was an offshore acquisition!!
The interesting point that potential buyers need to be aware of, this rifle can be had for £278 via the route I took! This is important as certain retailers within the UK (who shall remain nameless) are charging excessive prices for this gun due to the 'hype' about it being banned, or of a limited nature. While I'm not in a position to confirm or deny these statements as 'fact', the one point is that at the moment the rifle seems to be readily available and cheap if sourced correctly.
Good luck and good night!!

Re: New WE MSK GBBR
Interested in seeing videos of it's performance, being first off the line of a completely new and proprietary design with limited future parts back up, you're braver than I am.

Re: New WE MSK GBBR
Not really a big risk, I'm not planning on skirmishing it. I've always wanted a GBBR specific Masada/ACR, same as I want a decent (accurate) Robinson Armament XCR.....so this is a collection piece.
If I was going to use a rifle as a primary, then I'm 100% with you on your statement.....us cowards need to stick together
