The only reasons I could think of are either a temporary recall or if they're changing their formulation.

Re: Coleman propane no longer manufactured
The price has been going up for the past year at least. I can remember getting a twin pack for about £8 a while back, its almost double that now.
Still better than green though.

Re: Coleman propane no longer manufactured
You have to realise theres a high demand at this time of year not just from airsofters shooting lol but the amount of people camping which is going up and up due to familiys not affording to go abroad with the way finances are at moment. So stocks are bound to be low at the moment

Re: Coleman propane no longer manufactured
My local Outdoors store (that you "GO" to) still has them and they also said its still made just a shortage at the moment. To confirm I`m on about the twin pack black bottles .

Re: Coleman propane no longer manufactured
Hey, I said I'd post up when I have more information and I have just received and email back from them which is here for your eyes;
Dear Joe,
Thanks for your email and apologies for the delay in response.
We have had an implementation of a new administration system.
We still have the propane cylinders in production.
http://www.coleman.eu/UK/p-23633-propane-cylinder.aspx
And it will also be available in 2012.
It has been out of stock for couple of weeks, but new stock arrived and is delivered to our retailers.
When you want to know where to purchase I can provide you with a list of retailers.
Kind regards,
Judith van Dongen
