There are rumours that all the Chinese Airsoft factories have been shutdown.

Which brands would this affect if true?

You're kidding me right??

A) this is really old news, this rumour started about two months ago.
B) its already been disproved on here and on other forums. Most factories have already reopened.
C) Theres a thread like a page back already explaining this all in detail.

welcome to a month ago :p. It was just rumours about them being closed permanently. It has now been found out that they were only closed for China's 60th communist anniversary celebrations. All factories should be back up and running by 1st November from what i can tell. Except AGM whos boss got imprisioned. But is rumoured to be releashed soon.

Ive heard specialist Tokyo Marui kill teams rounded up all the chinese airsoft manufacturers, lined them up against the wall and shot them all!

Welcome to old news lol, the Chinese authorities basically seized a load of replicas (as shock horror they are illegal in china) AGM boss got locked up, factories closed. The only effect over here is that most sites are out of stock of chinasoft guns as the factories need to get back up and running, just expect low availability over the next few months.

Finally, a rumour with some truth behind it. And one that actually interests me. Absolutely bloody sick of this now. Its not the end of the world, china didnt just emplode, you can still buy your pot metal Illegal clones for the sake of someone elses welfare.
