Re: Film/movie weapons
GBB M1A1, shell ejecting shotgun. With these things, I would die a happy geek. Kinda messes up the the round counter though...

the G&P kit came along and was a little more affordable
Sorry, I meant the G&P kit in the other post. Afaik the Snow Wolf kit is a clone from what I've read.

Re: Film/movie weapons
there was DEFINITELY a kit back in the day that required a TM m1a1 & 870 with Spaz parts to complete. if you trawl enough I'm sure the thread will be findable
think it housed a mini battery in the magazine well
'It shockingly outranges many m16's and ak's. I have taped both mags together for added firepower and reliablity.'

Re: Film/movie weapons
Ive not seen/heard of this kit. Will have a look though. I always just thought it was g&p then the snow wolf clone. I think they are missing a trick by not having the working shotty. That would be awesome

I think I know which kits you're talking about. A certain forum for props has a few members who make very detailed shrouds etc. Not an airsoft kit, but I guess as they're made for real-world deacts as long as the guns are close to real dimensions they would work. There's a few videos on the tube of you where people have fitted working firearms. And yes, the pump action jams just as it did on the set!
EDIT: My mistake, it would purpose built by a company called Lage, and it doesn't feature the same weapon configuration. Still, it looks pretty damn close, and it actually fires! Now, they just need to get it running caseless ammunition...
