My Classic Army M249. Going up for sale soon as a tad heavy for me!

It started life as an Mk1. I have since modded a G&P Ris top cover to fit, as well as added a G&P heat shield and G&P full stock. There's also some real 5.56 inerts, an Elcan, and a surefire flashider on there .

The G&P MK46 now weathered along with the new style bipod and 50rd cloth mag.
Still looking for the new Seals style cloth mag, plus still unsure whether to give this a light dusting of Halfords sand spray paint




The above pics didn't do the weathering to the body justice, sorry for poor pic but this is to show better ware detail.

Is the cloth mag just for show or have you got it to work with the m249? Ask as I have the standard box mag on my G&P m249 and its starting to crack at the top and liking the idea of a cloth mag.

The one above is just for show, but I do have the bigger version that is in the process of been converted. I can explain what I plan on doing, but will post more once ive got round to doing the alterations.

I have so much want for a support weapon, but nothing to fund this want. This thread just makes it worse! Loving the modernised stoner, paint job and accessories are spot on.

A few progression pics of my Mk46:

Stock

First iteration

Dumped the annoying grip-pod

Switched out the AFG, the VRG is a lot better for my grip style

Latest iteration, all I'm thinking of adding now is some ladder rail covers and an optic (either an ACOG, Spectre DR or an EOTech)
