still got to attach a rail and reflex sight. The fibre optic sights are screwed on but the rear sights curve on the base is different to the SPAS receiver which is annoying... ALSO!!! I'm still looking for a folding stock!! IF ANYONE KNOWS SOMEONE SELLING ONE, PM ME!!

Lol not at all! I really do like it!

the SPAS shoots 3 rounds at a time - I thought everyone knew that...

Erm yeah.. I now actually have 2 SPAS's's's lol. One of them is (this one) is for CQB and the other is for woodland.

The other one is undergoing serious customisation over the next few months. And the wooden stock will be fitted to that one.

No mate, I cut stencils out a cereal box and sprayed over with krylon. Does the job!

thanks fizzy, just sanded the wood kit down, mixed up some black soluble paint and applied it to the areas that are most likely to see wear and tear, left it on for 10 - 15 seconds, and used a damp cloth to rub it off.

nice layer of linseed oil to finish and bobs your uncle!

thanks juice, wouldnt have been able to afford the garand if it wasnt for you mate!

the thompson actually performs really well, i originally bought it for re-enacting, but in my opinion its more than good enough to earn its way into my skirmish guns.

ill do a review of my entire ww2 collection and post it up tomorrow if anyone interested.

The other body's getting a similar treatment, but a des pattern, best of both worlds.
