                      That just looks like it's been sanded to me. Is that what you mean? MajorLandmark has an actually chromed chromed 1911. Sent it off to an electroplaters. A few of us had the same thing done for H a few years back. It was mirror finish. Better even than Stealth1911's Glock back on page 13.

                        Yeah, it has just been wet-and-dry'ed. Not as good as a proffesional chrome, but still a good finish.

                              I like it actually.
                              Just in case you didn't know, chrome only gives as good a finish as the metal underneath it had to start with. So for a mirror finish, you'd need to polish the poop out of the ali. Which you could do with that if you wanted. I'd keep it as it is though. The contrast is awesome, and bling wouldn't suit it.
