Here's my TM M4 SOPMOD in most of it's set ups:




Information about each set up

Set up #1 - Night time
Single bright LED torch
Classic Army double threaded slim metal sound suppressor
Specter Special Operations Patrol (SOP) sling
HurricanE EOTech 556

Used for night time games because the suppressor slightly quietens the gun, the EOTech is bright and is good for quick target acquisition and the torch is obviously for illuminating dark places and spotting people.


Set up #2 - Standard

This is how my TM M4 SOPMOD usually is set up. The sling allows for lots of different ways to carry the gun (search for the Anvil Arms SOP sling video on YouTube) so I can carry it comfortably and can quickly get it ready to fire when I need to. The EOTech 556 is bright enough to be used in all daylights, even bright summer, with no problems, so it's a great choice as an optic.


Set up #3 - CQB set up

Standard vertical grip

Used for CQB because the EOTech 556 again allows for fast target acquisition, the sling for good CQB carry positions (or I can let go of the gun and draw my side arm without worrying about hitting the gun on anything or dropping it on the ground) and the vertical grip can help me hold it steadier.


Set up #4 - Long distance shooting
3x magnified ACOG style scope with non illuminated black crosshairs
Classic Army double threaded slim metal sound suppressor
Standard vertical grip
Specter Special Operations Patrol (SOP) sling

The 3x magnified ACOG style scope is great for long distance shooting because firstly I don't need batteries, secondly the optics don't cover the target too much and thirdly because I can see exactly where by BB's are hitting, so I can adjust the hop up for shooting even further if I want to. The vertical foregrip helps me hold it steady and the sound suppressor quietens it slightly, but also makes it look a bit better for this set up.



The EOTech 556
I just got this recently and I'm extremely pleased with it so far. I can adjust it anywhere, anytime. The brightness automatically adjusts or I can adjust it myself. Got a red and green reticle. Takes two AAA batteries so very easy to power the sight itself, no specialist batteries. All metal, holds it's setting perfectly, even with the recoil of the SOPMOD. The recoil might throw some sights off but not this one. There are some other minor features but they're not too important to mention Here's the reticle (got the lens cover on the other side so that might affect the picture) in daylight. I would've taken it in broad daylight but the camera wouldn't pick it up.

Yeah, its my friends but he doesnt soft that much anymore so I'm getting a loan of it. Might buy it off him cause I love the way the gearbox works and how the spring power aduster works too, its ingenious
