For an airsoft gun though... sorry but unless its 1k of gun I certainly wouldnt put it in ~£200 case!

Well, it depends on what you consider expensive I guess.

As a collector/skirmisher, all my guns are high end and in the £150 to £400+ range. Add to that all the accessories, upgrades, accurizing and time spent on them and they're approaching at least double the original purchase prices. Besides, Peli guarantee whatever's in them for life.

And who's to say I always pay full retail price for the cases? Some £140+ cases, I've got for like £30 on eBay.
