Boris is your 'AKM' not simply an AK74? Both the stock and the muzzlebreak are from a 74.
The mag is also a 74 one (so is correct for the gun), its not curved enough for a 7.62 mag.
I don't think they were produced in black until the late 80s either, so as it is its a good 90s gun but not earlier. Use an orange plastic (they're not bakelite) mag and you're good for 70s & 80s though.

the only reason the mag is in the picture is because its the one that came with the gun.
in future i'll make sure the correct coloured mag is on the gun.

Nowt wrong with the mag for the gun (well assuming it works ok!). Just remember to stick with the orange ones for pre late 80s impressions.
