A sight base of what, 5 inches is probably doing nothing reliably, you do better just painting two white marks on the top of the barrel... That or use the stick on VSR pro sights...

Probably would work just as well but I like the look of it and roughly the same height as the reticule in a scope

I'd get one of those cod4-style reflex sights for minimum weight and for being a decent sight, but that's just me. Then again I've an urge to stick a scope on everything nowadays due to my bad eyesight that can't follow where BBs are landing :p

As you see the size difference isn't that much at all. So i could if i wanted too use the M14 for CQB too

@Ginger Chris: I have one and tried it and it's exactly the same as I find the red dot moves a lot which hurts my eyes :P. Also I like the simpleness and uniqueness of it

You can aim an aimpoint without even closing an eye... There should be no strain at all...

Edit: I don't really want to use one, I prefer the look of the iron sights and so what, everyone has different tastes

Agreed, they just dont work in my opinion. Plus, you're missing out on the pleasure of looking at those lovely fake round low cap mags.

well i tend to be able to have a hell of a lot more ammo which means with the range i get and the rof i can just spray people like a mini hand held mini mini gun.
