Though I would show you how quick and easy it is to Krylon so grabbed a spare CA Stock in Black I had. Quickly put some masking tape on it. Took about 5 minutes or so. Pic below
all ready to paint








Then I grabbed the Krylon and off i went this took around 8 minutes to do.





Touch dry in about 10 minutes, Here it is indoors 30 minutes after my post. But, I would really leave it overnight for the paint to harden. Voila! one OD M14 stock.





One tip when either airbrushing or aerosal painting, always start the paint flow about 5-6" before you actually hit the stock, and keep spraying 5-6" after the stock. This prevents uneven paint coverage at the edges of your work.

Cheers for the positive comments and LeeBristolAirsoft - Hmmm...well the M7 on its own was around £400 partly because it comes with lipo and battery charger. Then my addons...Noveske flash-hider, the enhanced shoulder pad, magwell foregrip, spr trigger guard, rail covers,magpul mbuis, 552...pauses for breath + predator laser....

gulp...probably another £200

Strange really, when I bought it, I was happy with it standard...but then started tinkering with the internals...then as is always the case saw bits and bobs here and there and started making additions.

I need to dig myself out of this hole I got myself into. If the wife spots I have praised a M4 variant, divorce is looking likley.

So I have decided it is really poo, and a complete waste of time and money, and its still an M4

Well, actually its not an M4 at all :D - its an M7 , which as far as I can tell is its closest 'real world' counterpart is an LWRC M6A2 (well until I added my touches) but I take your point, must keep the missus happy
