Finally got the proper optic on there . I'm happy with how it's turned out; wanted to keep it very basic and traditional.

Finished this as far as it's getting done for now. I'd love a barrel extention one day with a l17a2, i have a rs diemaco foresight ready for it i ever do it. Just no point in doing it atm as i'd likely have to make the ugl.

If your in UK don't put a RS Foresight on. That would put you in possession of a section 5 firearm. The problem is the foresight also contains the gas block, any pressure bearing parts are considered illegal to have without FAC. Get rid of it.

Nice gun though.

Finished today, granted the upper on the 16" barrel needs some more wear on it, but I like mine to wear naturally from use so this will happen over time.

Looking to get a l119a1 project started here got a few questions, is it worth starting an a1 or should I go a2 at this date? Also what would be a good base AEG to start with at this date?

This is mine built 5yrs ago and STILL in this configuration so I must like it !
used a TM recoil for the build .

Beauty! I've done a bit more research and noticed a lot of TM Recoil base builds, thinking this is the route I will go down.

And yes A2 is decent but can't help but melt at the sight of an A1

Spot on bud , for me (and you by the sound of it?) the A1 is what the classic british SF AR platform should look like .
