    The result of some experimentation between a chrome slided M1911A1 and a black MEU.

    Classic 1911 sexiness with modern miltary features.



    This quick picture doesn't quite do it justice I'm afraid, but I couldn't be bothered to wait around for the right light.

      I am looking for a new pistol and the 1911 has relly caught my eye. What is a good quality model/brand that has authentic markings?

            para ord bringing the style of the 1911 but with some bulk down the bottom for double stacked performance!

            although i think its the pic but it looks like uve gone at it with humbrol silver spray paint lol

                In all honesty I did'nt keep it long enough to be sure but it gave me no reason to doubt it, KJW are fine as far as I know but nowadays I buy TM only and how I wish TM would make a Para.

                                Those grips are lovely. Will definately be keeping my eye out for those for my second 1911 project. And on the subject of 1911 project, everyone check back on this thread later on today. Will have something nice and hopefully shiney posted on here. Won't reveal anymore as it will spoil the surprise.
