Got my new 10.5" CQB Barrel for my SOPMOD today so I fitted that and decided to put the old 14.5" barrel on a different receiver for my SOPMOD

I was "stood down" last wednesday from work, I decided to have a look in the old parts box to see what I had going spare.
This is what I came up with.

The whole thing was built from the ground up.

Seriously impressive for a box of spare parts bud! Looks almost like a diemaco!

Ashump, how did you get the paint job like that? Quite interested in doing that myself.

Easy, Halfords Khaki Camo spray paint.
Spray from quite far away so it jsut looks like dust falling on the gun.
Bit of kitchen roll with white spirit on and start rubbing areas away.
Rinse and repeat.

Lovely rifle. Going to be honest I dont like the front sight at all mind you. Would much prefer to see a KAC flip up maybe or a standard A post sight!
