heres is my progress on my current cqb project. started life as a JG HK 416, all thats jg now is the body and front end, no JG internals. but i suppose at this stage that doesnt matter as it is completely disassembled this is after krylon today, going with a black and DE two tone and then dry fitting the parts together. running an LR300 stock for extra cqb awesome!

Suprisingly I can't see the front iron sight at all on it. It's quite remarkable.
And yeah not a big fan of the stock either to be honest, as that's where my battery is stored so I have to make sure I have a ton of little lipos at hand for it.
Not a big fan of magpul either but it came with the M4 so I wasn't one to complain!

I like it ! I would personally have painted the lower receiver and the rails system and them worn it

yeah i kinda wish i did the lower reciever DE now and had upper black.

not a fan of the worn look personally, i think it is more born out of an airsofters mind than in actuality. But hey thats just me i seem to be alone in my opinion however. i wanted something a bit different from what you see everyday in airsoft and feel i have achieved that

fair play mate, funny i was mucking aroud with setups earlier and with an aimpoint and magnifier i couldnt see the peq15 i had on the top rail even though i had it on a qd riser and it was half way up the line of sight of the aimpoint

A bit difficult to appreciate due to the poor picture quality, but what we have here is a Tokyo Marui M4A1 (with metal receiver) that's been professionally chromed
