  • Re: Kalashnikovs

My interpretation of a STALKER AK74 in carbine form, which started life as an LCT TK105.

The only mods I've done are installing the OD furniture and a Hephaestus tactical magazine catch as I couldn't get on with the stock one. It makes a nice backup to my Stoner .

After browsing this thread repeatedly, thought I might add my collection.

Tokyo Marui AK 47 - G&P Metal Kit, G&G Wood Kit, excuse the silencer (covers barrel) still waiting to order a PBS-1.

JG AK 47 - Been battered, held together with good will. Metal stockless body (so the stock is insanely wobbley), Wood grips, OD taped stock to cover fake wood, SVD flash hider, 'tactical' selector arm.

AK 74 - Given to me as spares, been butchered, decided to put it back together. Shortened the outer barrel, got a useless 'tactical' mag release, needs a proper silencer.

All of them together, along with the WE Hi Power and Marui Hi Capa.

        Thanks.

                  Its pretty straight forward tbf.

Acquire suitably sized piece of steel, measure out holes, centre dab, drill pilot holes, drill actual holes, form steel around a brush shaft, blowtorch the life out of it, dust with black paint and your done!

Sorry mate didn't see your reply. I'll probably give it a go when I'm bored one day, but for now I'm content with them as they are. I'm just currently on the lookout for obscure accessories that I could possibly slap on it. If only madbull made a TGP-A...

All I need is either a PK-A or an EOTech + side mount to complete it. Fires like a dream, works with any and all AK mags. Only con of the Fusion Engine is that they didn't supply a screw that pushes the gearbox forward off the back of the receiver. Had to manufacture my own which means the receiver cover is pushed up slightly. First world problems yo
