it depends how you want your gun to look realy . I prefer the look of the rounded trigger guard and shorter dust cover to the blocky shape of alot of the 2011's. I suppose I like more of the oroginal 1911 style with the 2011 platform

Plus one to the above!! And for some reason I don't like the look of the serpa cut to fit the pistol.. Seems messy in my eyes. I like the complete customness of this Hi-Capa along with the double stack 1911 look..

Anyway, heres mine. I got round to spraying the pistol grip and fitted the metal slide. Surprisingly took very little filing or messing around to fit and it hasn't made a noticeable difference to performance. I am very impressed!!

Yep, looks very similar! two very nice pistols there heroshark! I will be looking into getting some of those KJ works grips when I can afford them.. for now the TM sprayed will have to do!

So I can't stop adding little bits to mine, I keep seeing things dotted around in my bits box and think "oOOoOooooOOoo that'll look good on the 'capa!! As far as I am aware I've completely used all my pistol applicable accessories, so until I go insane and add a red dot or something stupid this is it! Well except for the 5.1 outer barrel.. but that will be a while... I think :/

Apologies for spamming this thread so much recently!! I've made the last and final addition to the externals of my HiCapa. Added a Guarder Steel 5.1 Outerbarrel. Looks fantastic I think! Next up I will be adding internal upgrades to get it firing as snappy as possible! :D So until any dramatic changes happen externally this is my last post!! :D Hope you like it!

This will be my skirmish pistol from now on...

It's the loudest pistol! Everything stock except the SD V12 slide, SD V12 steel outer barrel, SD Hybrid steel chamber and night sights(I don't remember the manufacturer!).

9ball hop
Match silver frame
Airsoft Surgeon blowback housing
Gaurder loading nozzle
Elite custom grips filed under gaurd
Magwell
Trigger
Doctor optics RDS
Trigger job done (lightened)

Changing the doctor to a C-more on a Quinn 90degree mount for a lower dot.

Safe to say it's used for IPSC practical pistol open class.

Anyone any ideas as to where I could get different stickers to fit in the SVI grip ?
