Re: Steyr Aug
My old Aug pictured in it's natural environment: In front of Auscam. Always been a fan of the standard A1 augs, simplistic but very effective. That said I've had my eye on a sniper aug that's been up for sale on this forum...if I had the money I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Re: Steyr Aug
It looks so big :D
How does the A1 with the scope actually work out? I keep thinking about buying an A1 receiver to replace the A2 receiver on mine, but I'm not 100% sure on it...
The trouble with quotes on the internet is that it's difficult to discern whether or not they are genuine. - Abraham Lincoln

Re: Steyr Aug
I find the A1 scopes surprisingly comfortable actually.

The scope is lovely. Good accuracy and a nice level of zoom. Very easy to use and no fuss.
My only worry is the scope getting shot and breaking...not so easy to replace

Re: Steyr Aug
My JG Aug A3 as it was,
And as it is now.
I wanted to decrease some of the weight so I decided to remove the ris system at the front. Unfortunately this also removes the top rail so I had to replace it with a short rail, that way I could still attach my sight. :D I couldn't find a "Genuine" Aug fore grip so I made one, I tried my best to get it to resemble the original, but hey, it works. It is much lighter now and with a quick flick of a screw driver I can easily convert it back to the A3.
