The only pic I have and a poor quality one at that of my old Famas, it was my first AEG years ago, never missed a beat, kept on outranging most and had a wicked rate of fire to boot.

The real-steel has a polymer exterior I believe, spare a few parts.

The FAMAS is one of those guns that looks smaller than it actually is. I just wish someone would make an up to date (materials-wise) replica. The TM I had was a dog...

I liked the famas, but had a look at a friends and the tm version was sooo creaky, I went for an AUG instead. Bullpup ftw...

I bought a FA-MAS F1 back in October and creak proofed it using sniper tape against the gearbox and all the other parts where plastic meets plastic. Was trying to put a kind of MoH Tier 1 Legion loadout together (strange I know, but then I like the FA-MAS...) but then succumbed like a Judas and got an M4...

There, thought I'd say it and get it out of the way before anyone else does.

Well heres my Cybergun Famas.
Seeing as Im taking it to the Ai500, I thought Id treat it to a spruce up, in something more like the team colour.
Excuse the extremely poor quality pics, I must stop spending money on buying and modding guns and buy a proper camera

I bought it second, maybe even fourth, hand. Range is still pretty good for a used and abused weapon, although I may treat it to a hop replacement, ROF is ridiculous ( who needs a support weapon?) and Ive modified the mag well and a couple of M4 mags, so spare ammo shouldnt be so much of a problem.

I added the bottom rail with the fold down hand grip, the side rail ( Im waiting for a torch to fit to it thats in the post) and added the top rail/sight mount with the Aimpoint.

Im realy suprised that more of these things are not in use, OK I had to creak proof it, but other than that, I cant fault it. Im even tempted to buy a brand new one ( as they are not that expensive) and give this one a more modern/chopped about G36 type look

I love that paintjob steve34, usually not a fan of anything other than one block colour. But that is very cool.
