looks very nice. When people say lipo conversion what do they mean? why does a ptw need a conversion for lipos? just interested

All it means is that a slot is cut in the buffer tube for ease of connecting the battery and the wiring is changed from the standard Systema coiled effort/Tamiya to standard wiring/smaller connector. Tac's mod also shortens the board inside the buffer, so that you can compress the stock almost all the way in.
It's not like PTWs aren't lipo ready OOTB - the lipo mod is just for ease

Yep - I simply installed a cut out buffer tube and shortened the curly wurly long connector cable. Can get a 11.1v in the buffer tube with only an inch of loss of the stock adjustment. Pretty happy with that.
