I considered it but it's a total ball-ache. Dadio on these forums makes them to orde r though, not sure on how much he chargesbut it may be worth asking anyway.

This question has probably been asked before, so I apologise if it has, I tried searching for it but couldn't find it. I have a Tanaka M700 and I want to paint it but I am reluctant to paint straight on to the body, is there any other way I can put a camo paint job on to it? Using sniper tape or something to that effect as a barrier between the body and the paint? Or would it look a bit naff?

Tape's a really good choice! Just tape it up and spray the tape if you wish. I've seen it been done by many users and it works really well.

I figured it really was time to post pics. Just a pretty much stock TM vsr. Camo taped and subsequently sprayed...badly. Nevertheless I like it and it shoots well enough.

I think you could have been more polite about it, but I don't like the Ashbury much either. It seems curiously front-heavy and the stick-on carbon-fibre makes it look more boy-racer than special-operator.
