Might swap the pistol grip out for a VFC 416/417 one. Not too keen on the motor in it and the range of short ones seems a bit small. Plus I don't have any spare!

Working laser, and battery in the peq.

Far too much clutter on the top of her, so I've stripped it down to essentials. The battery is also going to go in the rear, in stick format, in a tiny home made battery holder.

Can't decide if it looks better without flip ups, or with!

Interested to see what you do with the battery BSB, it's my biggest bugbear with the PDW

The plan is a stick, most likely 11.1 (as it's a milsimming gun mostly) and I plan to use a hydration tube cover for the holder. Tape it to the inside of the top bar of the stock where it's out of the way and boom job done.

Just take the gas parts out, put a bullet pin connection in there for your batteries and stick a little lipo inside.. thats what I did with mine! Yes you can see the battery but its a black battery for most so not a huge issue. Although you do lose the nice metal k'nex like gas parts!

                        Re: KAC PDWs

I have always wanted to do that, but I don't have any batteries small enough to fit in there. Also a bit of a faff taking the battery in and out each time which I don't fancy. For the sake of fitting a battery with fairly decent zip, its just easier to have it rewired. It needs doing anyway, as the trigger contacts in mine have splayed a bit so it only shoots when the trigger comes ALL the way back

Fair enough, to be honest your option is the best I can think of. I've never liked PEQ boxes! If you want a bigger battery that is going to be the way to do it you're right! Good luck bud.

Hoping it'll be the tidiest as well! my handy work isn't always neat! But I'm off work in recovery mode until Christmas so need things to do until then! Will post up a pic when it's finished. If the end plate comes off the stock it'll look 100x better...

Good luck buddy!! I think the end plate does come off the stock, pretty sure it came off my Dboys I seem to remember, I looked into sticking a lipo in the upper stock tube!
