It's fit for 500fps with the internals, but I've only slapped a 110 spring in there to use it at urban. Shoots 388fps! (I finally have a chrono!)

That's not a bad fps for urban. Are you going to fettle it to get it nearer 400fps? I'm not saying you should as fiddling may take you over, unless you wanted to then clip the spring.

whats it like viewing the aimpoint that far?
on an eotech of mine i used to have, if you had it about a foot away, the reticle filled the lens

That's not a bad fps for urban. Are you going to fettle it to get it nearer 400fps? I'm not saying you should as fiddling may take you over, unless you wanted to then clip the spring.

I can like without those 12ft per second... It's not worth it just for the amount of time it'll take me to take the bloody thing apart!

Good. Aimpoints were designed to be used on pistols, at arms length. I don't think Eotechs are really.

im going to be very pedantic, its not quite the same
the objective lens flares a bit
but that is my substitute atm and it looks like im going to have to go with it

This is where my frustration lies. I know they are both completely different (not like umming and arrring over an ACOG or an Elcan for instance).

I'd LIKE to have the magnification of the Specter but don't require it and I like the fact you can snap of a quick round or two with the T1 which has a nice clear, bright reticle.

I suppose the magnification thing is so that I can see if I am indeed actually hitting someone before they are classed as a cheating scumbag that needs a good bumming...

Well there is an ACM Spectre available 1-4x. If you can find one in stock is the no.1 problem, the second being they are over $200!

Update!

Picked up a Guarder lower frame for my 18C earlier. Going to fit it momentarily.

Also, the EBR fires wonderfully on the new Marui Perfect Hit .28g BBs...
