Hi guys. As above. Dont need anything too intricate. Just voice your opinions on it if you've tried one .

Ideally need some for Monday, as thats when Im buying it!

Had a shoot with one in a shop. Felt nice. Not as solid as others, but it shot well enough.
I'd buy one, change the grips, and keep it as a wall hanger. Because they do look brilliant.

Whether it will be reliable after a few months of skirmishing, who knows!

I've read a few instances of feed lips breaking and general lower grade metal although all the mag/decent online reviews have said how good they are.

Buy a TM, there's someone actually selling a nearly new WE p226e2 due to its stupid crap dimensions, why they couldn't get this one basic thing right i'll never know.

I wanted to say the above, but didn't want to start a TM am bestest thread.

But yes, i would put money on it that if you were to buy a TM you would be just as happy and you would still be shooting it this time next year.

Ive got the WE 228 and its a solid little pistol hop cant hop anything over a 0.2 but get a full mag from 1 gas charge n its accurate with decent rang for a pistol. Fits my genuine serpa too. Cant imagine the 226 to be to dissimular had mine for 6 months n use for most shoots

I agree, the performance of the new WE range is...ok...but the fact it doesn't fit in a serpa kills it for me.

Pro's for WE:
Metal
Cheap
Performs...acceptably.

Pro's for TM:
Performs...brilliantly
Actually fits in a serpa.

It's all about what you want

Anyway, on topic, anyone got a review of the WE?

I believe Epicairsoft HD did a good you tube video on one but they labelled it as "mystery P226"

Reason I was wanting a WE is because I havent got the money to buy a TM and then buy a metal kit. I like my pistols full metal you see.

I think I may hold out for a WE P228. I like it just as much as the 226E2 and from comparing reveiws, it seems to perform a little better.

I have the P228 , it was the one Sig I was missing from my collection and I love it .

Mine has no issues lifting a 0.25 or even 0.28 but someone else stated their's could not manage that so I guess they are not all that effective from the box
