KSC Glock 19 Part #22 Problem
9 September, 2010, 18:30
Hi
I have a KSC glock 19 have only had it for like 2 months and used it twice in a squirmish. It got full of sand. I stripped it and removed all the sand and re-lubed it. Now when the gun is loaded up I:
1. Pull the slide back
2. pull the trigger
3. the gun fires a BB
4. I then pull the trigger again and nothing happens
5. pull the slide back again
6. pull the trigger and 2 bb's come out
7. then try pull the trigger nothing happens
8. pull slide again
9. dumps the propane
I have stripped the gun again and noticed that part #22 when pulled forward does not return to it's original position.
I have made a video here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3_No16EHEI
Please assist I have hardly used this gun and getting rather annoyed

you still mite have a little grit in there thats stopping it going back i had the same problem with my ksc g26 you could take it apart and try stretching the spring a little more

I tried to clean it best I could.
Bit of a tight section to get into the springs look like they are bending slightly
I have attached a pic of the springs
Any Idea?

Re: KSC Glock 19 Part #22 Problem
stick the parts under a tap to flush the grit out and to fix springs stick them over a small screw driver then bend them in to shape

With the springs in, can you move the plastic piston easily back and forth?
A fairly common issue is the piston cup (rubber circle which goes in the piston with the springs) is either deformed, or just simply not lubricated enough.

Re: KSC Glock 19 Part #22 Problem
I repaired the springs as best I could and part #22 seems to be moving more freely and returning to its position most of the time
The piston is it the rubber part #27?

Im thinking hammer spring.
Either too weak, or the hammer still has grit somewhere stopping it coming forward with enough force to realese the right ammount of gas.
Cock it take off the slide and pull the trigger and see how much force is behind the hammer and if it travels fully.

Is it part #78 (The one that hits the valve on the MAG) and what should I check for?
