Re: Tokyo Marui SOPMOD M4
Just got hold of a Sopmod and love it. I have a Systema ptw and much prefer the Sopmod over it and the range and accuracy on this is fonominal and well worth the money.
The only thing different to this and the ptw is the bolt switch to upgrade FPS which you cant do on the Sopmod but range and accuracy blows the ptw away even though its shooting at 285 FPS, the only downside are the batteries on a cold day they dont last long at all, hence the reason im sending mine off to zero one for the full upgrades on the sopmod including batteries.

What??? It beats a PTW and is only half the price?? Heretic! The PTW fan boys will be massing against you! :p
Joking aside, are you certain it's a match for a PTW range an acuracy wise? Is there much in it?

Re: Tokyo Marui SOPMOD M4
nice too hear a review from some one that has both guns..
always a plus to see the sopmod getting good reviews..
some sort of battery mod is a must, 8.4v 1300mah just doesnt cut it nowadays at the kind of level and price point the sopmods competting at..
i went with the 7.4v 3000mah lipo for mine in the stock but ive also got 2x 9.6v 1300mah bats here as well which work just as good you just need too or a charge mid day.
mines at 350 fps and i love every second of its amazing accuracy :D

I owned a m4 PTW but got rid of it for the MP5 PTW as the MP5 out performs the M4 hands down for performance accuracy and range
The sopmod does everything the PTW does except for the Cylinder change and it out performs the PTW hands down on Range and accuracy and its stock no upgrades strait out of the box. But the battery life does let you down hence the reason for the upgrades soon.
