Re: WE TECH SCAR review
At the risk of being horribly flamed i actually really dont like the eglm's, look a bit like a tuma on the thing to me. If and when i get this, i will instead be using an M203 Long which i think may just work with this (so long as i get a black one, no jokes!).

Re: WE TECH SCAR review
Got this email from WE:
The SCAR magazine part #133 is a tiny bit higher than the same part on the M4 mag. This allow for a better gas seal in the SCAR's internals. The M4 mag, of course, can still be used in the SCAR, but the gas seal may not be as tight. The raise the #133 is very easy, all one has to do is to fit a small O-ring under it (you can see this o-ring if you take loosen & take off part#132.
Kindest Regards,
WE Tactical Training International
So, either an o-ring fix on the mag or tape on the cylinder works.
Wonder why there isnt Scar specific mags on the market if this is the case?

Re: WE TECH SCAR review
Yeah so assuming i can find CO2 mags in THIS lifetime, can i get the FPS to a consistant 330 or under? Need to if i want this baby at urban. Has anyone asked if Z1 might be able to order some in, we might even get a discount.

Re: WE TECH SCAR review
There is 3 ways of adjusting the FPS, I've done a lot of reading:
1. Ra-Tech NPAS adjusts valve opening by use of a hex key this inlcudes head as well so its a quick swap
2. TS Customs uni direction guide rod, similar method but doesn't come with head you have to use your own.
3. Make a space for the valve from a piece of old barrel about 2-3mms in depth
I'm going with the RA-Tech NPAS seems to be the one most people are saying is the better method to go with...
Just what i've read online, Knowledge is power as they say

Re: WE TECH SCAR review
Thanks for that, any chance you could PM me where to get a Ra-Tech NPAS or is the response going to be "google is your friend...". Anyone know if you can fit a silencer on this thing, if so how?

Re: WE TECH SCAR review
yeah you can, its got a 14mm cww thread so any can screw on, also, any type of qd / over flashhider silencer that fits and m4 flashhider will work. just be careful it doesnt foul the front of the gas block.
the silencer actualy works with propane, but with co2 ive found it makes sod all difference
