      Hi Crasstoe
I looked at my hop up like you said and took it apart and find out that my bucking was torn and I found out that
the thing that hold the barrel in place also broke in two .(hope you know what I mean)
I am looking for a new one but I can't find it then I looked for a new hop up unit I can't find that also even
on the site of kingarms it isn't there do you have any idea where I can find the parts.
Another question wich bucking do you use in youre Blaser.

      thx

The hop unit (plus barrel c clip) can be purchased by emailing king arms with a picture of the broken parts. This was the first thing that broke on my R93, however I have found that just pushing both halves of the clip into the hop unit and wrapping in PTFE tape holds the inner barrel adequately.

I use a Guarder advanced hop bucking (black) in my R93.

          Hi Crasstoe
( sorry for my Bad english)
I have problem with slame fire, at first I thought it was my trigger sear, after I replace it with a new trigger sear the piston still unlock, by the way I already upgrade my piston into steel and 170 spring, Do you think a new trigger sear is not long enough to hold the piston, or is there any other reason beside the trigger sear ? Thx a lot

Re: King Arms R93 Blaser Tactical LSR1

            Hi Crasstoe

I already found why it keep slame firing even i change the trigger sear, the problem start when i changed it spring to 170 king arms for blaser r93, when I put the original spring (140 i guess) it works fine, do you have any idea what is the problem with my 170 spring? A friend of mine said it may because the spring is up and down inside the piston when we pull it, that's why it doest lock to trigger sear..

            Thx Crasstoe

Hi Seankira, what trigger sear, piston & spring guide are you using?

Can you upload pictures of the rear of the piston if it is the stock plastic one?

Re: King Arms R93 Blaser Tactical LSR1

Hi Crasstoe, all my internal parts almost made by metal and it original from kingarms but i already found the problem, which is the 170 spring is too long for trigger sear to catch, after i cut 2 circle of the 170 spring, it works really well, But i haven't test how many fps it can get by cutting the spring, with 170 original spring it can get 550. I still do not understand what is the point of king arms making a 170 spring if we have to cut it a little bit? Do you have any good experience with high spring for blaser ?

                Thx

I use the 170 spring with the v2 cylinder and the metal piston. The metal piston trigger sear catch is slightly longer than the original whilst remaining the same overall external length.

A good clean and a new hop rubber. Madbull Accelerator Hop (RED) is the one to go for with this setup. Hitting a football sized target at 80m with no problems and minimal elevation.

                      Just a brief update.

I am in talks with King Arms about getting a barrel, receiver and bolt carrier + handle for the new version and I am waiting for them to confirm it is compatible with the original versions stock and cylinder, but looking at pictures of the new versions assembly it looks like it will all just carry across. Fingers crossed!

Right, bad news people, the new version bolt cannot be transplanted across onto the old version. Turns out the old version has also been discontinued. I will refer to the old version as AG-74, the model number, and the new version as AG-87.

                        Here are pictures of the differences;

                        AG-87

                        AG-74

                        AG-87

                        AG-74

                        Exploded Views;

                        AG-87

                        AG-74

Ultimately the AG-87 uses the same cylinder and internal parts, including hop chamber, however it is a totally different rifle.

You "could" but a new bolt carrier etc but you would have to mod the stock in order to fit it all, and those parts come to £180 and that is with a discount from King Arms directly (they have said they WILL NOT SELL TO END CUSTOMERS TO PROTECT RETAILERS), and that is before shipping. This is why they do not offer a new barrel and bolt kit for the old rifle.

The most cost effective method is to buy the new rifle (which can be found for £190) and transplant your upgrades if you have any (that is my plan). I will then sell the old version on with remaining upgrades that I purchased prior to the upgrade kits being released (ASPUK etc).

Thanks go to King Arms on Facebook for providing the photos and helping me out. Top notch customer service.

I think the now discontinued version has something the new version doesn't, the fact that the only moving parts are the trigger and bolt, the new version is more fragile given the bolt carrier and rotating handle, however they are made from steel so I can't see them breaking easily, I do like the simplicity of the old one too, but the fluted barrel is gorgeous!

If someone does get a hold of the new version feel free to post your findings in this thread.

                            howdy,

do the new ones with the fluted barrels come with the upgraded sears or still stock unless you buy the king arms upgraded unit?

also are the sears compatible with VSR's? i know you said the piston and spring guide is so im assuming the sears will be too

very nice guide by the way

                            • Hi, cant give a firm answer but I would guess they will be the stock sears, I'll check for you.

The sear is NOT vsr compatible. That I do know

No clear response from KA yet on the sear, still chasing for you. In the meantime, video from KA showing the difference between the Ultra Grade and New Version of the R93; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UosuyBu1DKk Apologies as I should have posted this when I posted the comparison pics they sent me - completely forgot!
