Get a new stock, if that's all that's wrong with it. If it's otherwise damaged... Sell me the optics?

Try finding a real sword SVD stock.
I contacted real sword, they get made with the guns, no spares.

I'm intending on picking up another SVD so the optics stay with me I'm afraid. :p

Hmmm. The wood stock version of this is about £240, plus thens you'd have an entire gun in spares. Hopefully its a direct fit!

It would be easier to swap gearbox and outer barrel over.

Spent some time on the range with this yesterday, testing out .3s and the flat nub I put in. Much improved. Would recommend .3s over .36s. Especially as I had to use green .36s as well! Nightmare in the woods!

Also, magnet test was rather strange. Don't think it's steel after all.

                Top cover - magnetic
                Magazines - magnetic
                Magazine well - not magnetic
                Receiver - not magnetic
                Pistol grip - not magnetic
                Selector - magnetic
                Outer barrel - not magnetic
                Charging handle - not magnetic
Charging handle guide rod - magnetic
                Takedown lever - magnetic
                Stock arms - magnetic
Gas tube - ever so faintly magnetic

Nope. It hasn't missed a best since the day I bought it. .3s are working well in it, but I might try .25s as well, just too see how they do in it

What ranges are you consistently reaching with 80+% accuracy?

God no idea. But happily out ranging any other aegs. I will try and find out just how far it is, but having a range with measurements on it might be tricky...

Any joy? I am thinking of maybe getting the same but not sure.

Are you happg with it or would you rather have an aeg and run the extra odd meters and full auto au your targets with regular aeg?

Very tempted by one of these!

Not had a chance to try it out anymore. It's worth it for the extra metres. I don't run lighter BBs in it, as I'd rather drop rounds on targets further away than have to run.

Bear in mind you'll need a scope for one of these still. The Chinese scopes are terrible, so you're looking at a real one, a Belarusian one, or the real sword. All the same at around £250. The real Russian ones are £400+

I believe you can buy flat ris rails, but best in mind the SVD side rail isn't the same as the ak one.
