I've had one chap come up to me after a game and say i wasn't taking hits from his sniper rifle. A- they weren't hitting me and B- i found this really rude. I just said that next game, he should call for a marshall to check his shots.

After the next game he changed guns as apparently they were well short. Justice.

Call a marshall is the best course of action. Before you do that however, think to yourself "Are my rounds reaching said player?" If they are, think about whether the player can actually feel the hits - eg are you hitting player on a chest rig or similar? If you can rule these options out, then go speak to a marshall.!

Not much more to say than that really, although i aim for the fleshy bits when sniping

my friend had the same problem when sniping and since there wasnt a marshal in shouting range i took it upon myself to lay down my weapon and stand in amongst the enemy as a non-combatent (spelling?). being rentals they didnt question my on the spot decision :p. i stood there and watched one of them take a hit from my friends sniper rifle, look around then carry on. it made a loud clap on his jacket so there's no way he didnt hear/feel it.

then i shouted at him and suprisingly enough he realised he was hit. strange that.... after that they were reported to a (proper) marshal :D

long story short find a marshal....

I usualy aim for body, but if I hit them and they dont tkae the hit then I aim for hands, crotch, back of the legs etc etc, and if he still didnt take them then Id get a marshal, or If I was close enough, whip put the 40mm ;D

well if they dont hit it i shoot for the knuckles - they will drop their gun or knees. and the start double tapping ( if im using semi auto DMR ) if they still dont get the message ... ( from here on in is a joke and should not be taken seriously ) crank up the fps on my soon to be gas sniper and then shoot for the should the ball should go through them and then its obvious theyve been hit as the sun will shine through them!

and the jurys votes go as follows
first, call for marshal/comms for martial
second, are you sure the bb's are reaching (if you are not sure, you aint hitting the guy and get closer)
third, get as close as possible and make em as holey as THE POPE
fourth, at the first chance tell the marshal

first try and shoot him again as sometime you dont feel one shot through vest ect

then shout to the guy stating "i hit you" then tell a marshall or do what i do and get all my mates to fire at him at once then he cant say i didnt get hit

Sorry mate, but that's that last thing you should do. It causes arguments and, at some sites, will get you in as much trouble as someone not taking their hits.

I can't think of a single briefing I've listened to that hasn't been very specific on not doing this.

I actually had an interesting incident with hit taking a while back with Keeper. We were dug in on the side of a road when a group walked by oblivious to our presence. So, we jumped up, shot them and then watched, astonished, as they looked to where the shots had came from, ran back to cover and returned fire. Me and Keeper just looked at each other, and he jumped up and shouted at them 'You gonna take that?'. There was a moments silence and then one of them said 'Oh alright', and two of them walked out calling hit. Safe to say we had words and reported them to a marshall, but It was interested that they KNEW they had cheated, and once we called them on it, they took it. Most either cheat then deny it, or play the 'I didnt feel it, sorry' card (either truthfully or not)

I know specifically at Xsite, they say 'Don't cause a fuss, just got a get a marshall.' Nearly 100% sure Ive heard this at GZ as well.

Yep at Xsite its happened to me a couple of times. I call myself out, go get a marshal. Liam or Andy are usually the best ones to grab. And then I walk right to the guy in question and stand right by him, whether or not he is still in game.

Once my Fiancee was hiding in a room just off a stairwell. The rules at that particular site state that shooting into or out of a stairwell must be single shot only. My fiancee was shooting single shot at a group of guys on the stairwell, she hit 4 or 5 of them very clearly and not one of them took their hits. They did not know exactly where she was hiding so just stood on the stairs as if nothing had happened and sprayed everywhere, she hit them all again and once again they did not take their hits. The second time they realised where she was and threw a grenade into her room, she decided that despite them not playing fair she was going to so she took the hit, calling "hit" several times so they definately heard her. As she stepped out of the room they all opened fire at her, they new they had obviously been hit but pretended they hadn't, then they decided to be absolute idiots and spray her at close range after she had called "hit". As brutal as it might be my advice was to shoot them all back in the face, full auto at point blank as they all clearly picked on her because she was alone and a girl and sometimes moronic players need teaching a lesson (normally I'm not like this, I was just absolutely fuming at the time, ordinarilly you should just get a martial)... Thinking better of it she decided to report them to the martials after the game but unfortuantely the martials didn't seem that bothered and nothing became of it... Justice completely undone!
