as for shotgunning, yes much fun. the opposition almost certainly think you'll be a pushover.. and then look mighty shocked when you take out a 4 man patrol, single handed, just by being sneaky

I always, always think when I take out my M203 launcher/shotgun ''I'll never hit anyone with this'' and I always prove myself wrong and this is why I think people have moderate success with shotguns... Ready?

No signature AEG sound. Because both the gas shotguns and TM shotguns are dead quiet OPFOR almost always underestimates you. They pop their head/body out when they shouldn't and thats when you catch them out. If we're honest, we're all listening for the signature sound of an AEG or a GBB not the whimpy 'pfoot' sound of a shotgun and by the time you've pulled the trigger its too late.

Bring your TM shotguns to the Embassy in Leicester and you'll be laughing...

Ive just bought a Double Eagle cheapy M3 shorty (M56B), to use this weekend at CQB. It cost me £60 and will serve fine as a trial gun. Basically didn't want to splash out on a Marui until I know shotguns are for me. If all goes well this weekend I will be ordering a TM M3 or SPAS as soon as I get back.

Well there simple and sod all to go wrong with them and in CQB is damn near immpossible to take cover from all 3 pellets.

Yeah mine was roughly £50 from Land Warrior, decent price on the shells there too. Nice DE as i've said, and being honest, its the best gun I have ever bought (being primarily a CQB animal). I hope it never dies, and if it does I will buy one thats exactly the same. I love it to bits. I've heard rumours that the TM ones aren't as reliable as the DE clones (which struck me as odd) is this actually true?

This. You always know its gonna work, and in CQB (especially somewhere as compact as the Courthouse) you don't suffer too many disadvantages going up against people with AEGs.

I often suggest the DEs to people wanting to try the sport as they're cheap and some of the best fun you can have.

Had an epic shotgun day out on Saturday at Matlock Combat Games, me and my mate played the first game with AEG's as normal but soon became bored so went out shotties only for the rest of the day and it was quite possibly the best days Airsofting I've ever had, we had so much fun!!

There is nothing....NOTHING... as satisfying as sprinting screaming at an opposing player and seeing all 3 bb's crack the side of his head as he turns towards you in horror!!

give me some 0.4g BB's and my spas12 over anything you can offer me....its got to the point ive actually bought a scabbard so i can carry it around with me all the time. It also gets some looks when you pull the badboy out and put a shell in it.

yea it does not have the range of other guns but up and close seeing 0.4's being shot at people makes me hapy
