    SHS 13.1 high speed gears
    gaurder ultra high torque motor,
    ulitmate cylinder head,
    CA cylinder,
    ulitmate metal nozzle
    gaurder m120 spring,

Re: high torque motors - any suggestions?

ICS high torgue motors will pull the m100 no problem. You have a high speed set up with a m120 spring just now?.... If i were using high speed gears i would go m100 not a m120.

        In my g36 i have
        6mm metal bushings
        shs 13:1 ratio gears
        shs metal tooth piston
        shs piston shooter head
        shs cylinder
        shs piston head
m110 spring, with this set up I use a G&P m120 and it handles it with no issues what so ever...albeit I have a mosfet fitted also.

As im pulling an m150 spring on 18:1 gears.
A 7.4 lipo pulled it back a quarter and gave up. So i took midas's advice when i spoke to him on the set up and went for a 14.4
Even neil (who runs his shop now(ish)) said that his SHS high torque loves his 14.4.
The shop i got it from has agreed to send me another to try upon receiving the broken one back anyways. I think my burst wizard might have something to do with it as well as it buzzes the motor, the fet and the motor get really hot.

I'd get an shs ultra high torque, I use them in everything I do. To anyone that has had a problem with them recently, take the motor apart and clean it. Make sure you take any build up off the brushes. I had that problem recently with a new one.

Re: high torque motors - any suggestions?

Systema magnum with the insulation fix is fantastic, anything than successfully copy it at a decent price is worth a shot at. You won't need much more torque than that.
I'm running mine with an old systema HS armature winibd setup and it's monster, heat is the biggest killer though :/

Either that or Tienly GT30000 is a fantastic motor

Re: high torque motors - any suggestions?

                  ICS is very screechy
Systema is well overated and for what it is too costly (£80)
Tienly GT30000 is a fantastic motor, but hard to find and expensive
SHS was a great motor, but im beginning to think their standards have dropped sightly, maybe it s a bad batch
terminusX, although its £60 its imo the next best thing to a Tienly
