airsoft systems Smart control unit
17 June, 2012, 23:13
Well I gone and done it now, I cut through the ribbon while replacing some parts. After an hour of soldering and taping nothing seems to work. I can not find out if they sell just the trigger units on their own. Anyone got any idea's or solutions I can try before I go and burn this. Nothing but trouble if you ask me, far to thin of a wire which causes for problems in the end. Also if anyone knows how to contact the company please let me know. I have searched and searched but no luck yet.
Also what I would like to know is the motor beeps when plugging the battery in so that means there's power there but just no action. I might have to take it on the chin and throw it away and go back to the old system.

No the ribbon I cut through was the actual switching mechanism. I have looked at it and soldered the best i could.

Re: airsoft systems Smart control unit
I blew up one of these not too long ago, so it happens that I have a spare switch lying round with nothing to do if you want it?

For spares, it sounds like "Madwelshman" on here has some, or can get some. Worth a try?

Indeed mate, the switch itself will be fine. Not sure if the older type is compatible with the new control wire so you're better off getting one off ebay.
