g36 help

hi all
i got a g36 yesterday and had my first go today, i noticed that it is miss fireing every so often. so i had a look down the feed tube and saw this
it looks to me like the upunit is there cause it moves if you push it with a screwdriver...
does anyone know how to sort this or is it the mag not strong enough to push pass it.

hmm, ill point my buddy this way as he's got a few g36's now, you might find it better to see the problem if you take the magwell off its held on by two pins and is simple to remove.
back in the game after 12 months away!

hmm, if you could take the magwell off and take some more photos that would help as at the moment your camera is ficusing on the magwell and not the point that your having problems with. I will open up one of mine and see if i can find the bit your looking at.

if it's rubber, then yes it's the hopup rubber, and it's miseated. Take out the hopup chamber along with barrel, and reassemble it.

Hi guys sorry i not been on,
When i get home later ill take it off and get some pics
I forgot to say its a jg with a complete tm front end.
The bit you can see sticking out is plastic not rubber dude

yes mate the hop unit on g36 are on a spring so when i pushed the bit out the way it spring back :P

found the problem..... the hop unit is broke, the two pegs that hold it in have snapped off

Ah, I was just about to suggest the body has snapped allowing the hop unit to move back, but the hop unit snapped instead. Never seen that before.
Anyways, buy a new hop unit and it'll all be dandy!
