The ICS upper receiver uses an imperial thread at the front, the same as a real steel M4, not to mention Viper, Inokatsu & WE GBB rifles, recent G&P AEG's and PTW's. The stock Madbull barrel nut is threaded for metric receivers (i.e. Marui, King Arms). You basically have three options:

1: Use the Madbull die, and curse as it goes wrong (It needs a lot of torque to get it to cut the new thread)
2: Lightly run a small V shaped file over the threads repeatedly till the standard Madbull barrel nut fits (which I have done with dozens of G&P and PTW upper receivers)
3: Do as tisane suggests, and try and find the Madbull Imperial thread barrel nut.

Frankly, trying to force the supplied barrel nut onto the receiver is a bad idea.

I think I have found a PTW barrel nut. Also found a nice bloke who can work some stainless steal for me for my integrally suppressed m4 look ICS that I'm building. Can't wait!
