well, managed to fix the SA80. Seems it was a contact that wasn't sitting correctly in the gearbox, adjusted it, and seems to be okay now, single shot works, full auto works.... locks up sometimes on single, but a full auto fire resets it and works on single again.

it's a little bit like anything from Bang & Olufsen. shite. Poor design internally.

Build the outer case first and fit the important stuff inside, that's why they are sooo unrealiable. The trigger mechanism has a long bar that goes all the way to the gearbox because of the bullpup design, most other rifles have the gearbox next to or above the trigger mechanism. it's a crap design, but for the moment, sorted.
