Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
A 25C Lipo combined with weak or badly designed trigger contacts could well result in wear.

Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
Have you seen the 417 contacts then? Can they be cleaned if black? Or bent for a better contact? What can I do to prevent in future?
Looks like a sealed unit?

Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
That microswitch is an adaptation made to fit a P* into the gun. It is not part of the original gearbox.
If the contacts are black, you can try cleaning them but, unless you fit a mosfet, you are going to end up changing them fairly soon anyway. Fitting a mosfet would be sensible.

Re: Vfc hk417 trigger problem
Finally got round to having a look. Turns out it was covered in grease... Think black grease. Cleaned it up and bobs your uncle. The wires on mine don't go through the gearbox like in the picture which made things easier.
